A regular and much appreciated feature of our Conventions is the optional Pre-Conference Training Programme. This year we are offering a mix of Workshops and Courses on the 09th & 10th December. The programme is designed to offer practical advice, increase participants’ knowledge and enable them to take time out from their busy roles to analyse how the topics under discussion can improve their and their organisation’s efficiency and capabilities. The presenters are all chosen by WFZC for their professional expertise and training skills. Each participant will receive a Certificate on completion.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing 21 days prior to the event and will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee unless a substitute delegate is nominated. If less than 21 days notice is given no refunds will be available, however substitutions will still be accepted. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the content and timing of the programme, or any other aspect of the event, when unavoidable. Our liability in the unlikely event of a cancellation will be limited to a refund of the full conference fee.

BIOGH was established in 2009 specifically to develop an oil and gas hub in the Free Zone at Khor Al Zubair in Iraq.

In September 2012 a joint venture was established between BIOGH and the Free Zone Authority (FZA) - an independent authority under the Ministry of Finance. It will develop a highly secure dedicated oil and gas hub extending to 11 square kilometres (11 million square metres) of mixed used industrial, logistics, oil and gas storage, commercial and residential accommodation.

Infrastructure works will begin in Spring 2013 with the intention that tenants will be able to take occupation in Autumn 2013.
